Viewzee logs real-world activity using the core dimensions of who, what, when, and where — then turns that data into instant answers. Who did I see most this year? What activities score highest? What were my best and worst weeks? How many times did I go to the beach? Mood and weather can be included too, but they’re optional parameters — the foundation is your real life, searchable and answerable.

Click "Get started" on the landing page or navigate to Register. You’ll enter your first name, last name, email address, and create a password (minimum 8 characters). After registration, check your email for a verification link. Click it to activate your account and start logging.

Yes. Viewzee is free to use. There are no ads and no data selling. Everything you see—logging, analytics, correlations, advanced queries, and the heatmap—is available to every user.

Viewzee is a web app that works in modern browsers—Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge on desktop, tablet, or phone. It’s responsive, so you can log quickly on mobile and review analytics comfortably on desktop. No app install required.

From your Dashboard, click the “+” button. A modal opens where you can set the date/time and optionally add what you did, who you were with, where you were, duration, rating, and notes. Mood/weather are optional fields if you want them. Save, and the entry is recorded immediately.

Each entry is built around the core dimensions:

• Date & Time — when it happened
• Activity — what you did (e.g., “Running”, “Coffee with Sam”)
• Partners — who you were with
• Location — where it happened (if you use it)
• Duration — how long it lasted (minutes)
• Rating — 1 to 5 for how it went
• Notes — freeform context

Optional parameters like Weather and Mood can be included if you want them for correlations, but they’re not required to make Viewzee useful. Activity/partners/notes also auto-suggest from your history to speed logging.

Yes. Click an entry to open it in the edit modal, update any fields, and save. To delete, use the trash icon—Viewzee will ask for confirmation before removal. You can also edit/delete from heatmap details by clicking a day and managing entries in that panel.

Yes. Use the date picker to select any day in the past. Backdated entries show up correctly in your timeline, heatmap, and analytics because everything is computed from your stored dates—not from when you typed it in.

The Analytics page summarizes your life data across who/what/when/where and rating. You get:

• Built-in questions — “Who did I see most?”, “What’s my top-rated activity?”, “What day of week is strongest?”, and more
• Rankings — top/bottom activities, people, and slices of time based on your ratings
• Best/worst periods — identify stretches that trend higher or lower than your baseline
• Counts & frequency — how often things happen (people, activities, days logged, streaks)
• Optional parameter breakdowns — if you use mood/weather, they’re summarized too
• Correlations — connections between dimensions (e.g., “with X person + Y activity → higher ratings”)

The more you log, the more meaningful the patterns become.

The heatmap shows your year at a glance. Each day with at least one entry gets a dot. Dot intensity reflects your day’s average rating (higher = brighter). Hover shows the event count; click opens a detail panel listing entries for that day so you can review, edit, or delete without leaving the dashboard.

Correlations are computed relationships between dimensions in your entries—who, what, when, where, rating, and any optional parameters you choose to use. Viewzee compares “slices” of your data (e.g., a person, an activity, a day of week, a location) against your overall baseline to highlight what trends higher or lower. The output is driven by your entries, not guesses.

The Advanced Query panel lets you combine filters to pull exactly the entries you want. You can mix:

• When — date range
• What — activity
• Whom — partner
• Where — location (if used)
• Rating — 1–5 score
• Keywords — search notes/comments
• Optional parameters — weather/mood if you use them

Hit Search and Viewzee returns matching entries in a scrollable list with visual cues showing why each entry matched.

MATCH ALL (default) means an entry must satisfy every active filter. Example: Activity = “Running” AND Weather = “Sunny” returns only entries that are both.

MATCH ANY means an entry only needs to match at least one filter. Same example returns all running entries plus all sunny entries, even when they don’t overlap.

Yes. If you use mood at all, you can rename the five labels in Settings. Your custom labels appear in the entry modal, analytics, and queries. If you don’t want mood involved, you can simply ignore that field—your core who/what/when/where + rating analytics still work.

Boost generates realistic sample entries for your account so you can explore the dashboard, heatmap, analytics, and queries without manually logging a large history first. It’s meant for demos and onboarding. You can clear sample data at any time and return to only real entries.

The People page manages the “who” dimension. You can rename a person (which updates past entries for consistency) or remove a name from your records. This is useful for fixing typos and consolidating duplicates (e.g., “Sam” vs “Samuel”).

Yes. In Settings you can add links for Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and your website. Enter full URLs (including https://). You can update or clear them anytime.

Your data belongs to you. Viewzee uses secure sessions with strict cookie settings, CSRF protection on actions, and prepared SQL statements to reduce injection risk. Passwords are hashed (not stored in plain text), and sessions time out after inactivity. No system is “magic,” but the app is built to avoid the common, easy security mistakes.

Both are in Settings. For passwords, enter your current password, then your new one (minimum 8 characters) and confirm. For your name, use the inline edit controls next to your displayed name and save. Changes apply immediately.

On the Login page, click “Forgot your password?”. Enter your email and you’ll receive a reset link. Open it, set a new password (minimum 8 characters), and log in. Reset links expire for security.

Yes—account deletion is available upon request. We’ll verify ownership via your account email, then permanently remove your account and associated data (entries, settings, and profile links). This is irreversible once completed.
